DVC2 Beta memory write error DVC2 GZM

Hi Guys, have another problem. In DVC2 i could write to the stane alone memory card but since upgrading to DVC2 Beta i get an error message. MemoryShow.dvc access denied. Any thoughts? Have tested using DVC2 on a backup PC and is working as normal.

Do you still have the non beta on the problem PC? Does it still work here?
What are the non beta and beta software dates?
Which OS are you using on each machine?

Hi Simon, DVC2 was never installed on this laptop, DVC2 Beta only. We have 2 laptops identical, one with DVC2 (Version : 11/02/2011) and the other with DVC2 Beta (Version : 03/03/2011). No problem writing to memory card with DVC2 only DVC2 Beta. Both PC's are running the same operating system as below.
Windows Vista Home Premium (Service Pack 1)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo, P8700 @ 2.53GHz
Ram: 4GB
Running in 32-bit Operating System

install the non beta on the broken laptop, then we know if it is the version or laptop which is the problem

Hi Simon, yeah with DVC2 Beta uninstalled we have no problems writing to the memory card with DVC2. But I did found later with both installed, if I launched just DVC2 Beta I can't read or write. But if I lauch DVC2, close it and the open DVC2 Beta then I can read and write.

So you must open DVC2, then close it, then open DVC2 beta before the write memory will work?
This is the same on both laptops?
