I've made an iPod remote control for daslight, giving me complete control over daslight during a gig. You can check it out here:

There are some other options, like running a midi program on your iPod - but this was not flexible enough and did not provide enough control.
One thing I would like to see happening however, is the improvement of the daslight dll - this would make such apps waaaayy more easy!
