Hi,

I'm looking into buying a Daslight setup but the DMX cable from our lighting rig is 5 Pin. I see on the pictures of Daslight that the box's are 3 pin...

Do I just chop off the 5 pin plug and put a 3 pin on or will the whole cable need to be replaced?

So just to double check... With this adapter and Daslight 512, I should be able to just plug the existing DMX cable in and away we go?

Our current setup is 4 Martin Mini Macs and a Q Commander controller but the Q commander has had its day and so will be replaced with the Daslight system.

Just making sure before I buy.... Great software, got everything working but need to know if it will work with the real thing!

Can't see why not. The 5-pin cable to your rig goes in the adaptor, then it's a 3-to-3 from the adaptor to Daslight.
