Hi
even if its less often than it was in the beta, it still happens once in a while. Twice yesterday, always on the same type of action. While programing an effect, change tab window to "pannels" in order to set a default level for dimmer or shutter... The app desappears !
thanks

Hi Cobalt2,
Same issue here, happening from time to time.
Already reported to the support.
Very problematic for a serious work, like programming a show along with a customer... And the app crashes...

Same problem here.
Short before the show I was correcting some positions of movingheads and ... crash !
Earlier I have tried to show this effect to a friend ... no crash ! (without the DMX interface)
My question:
Is there a difference having connected the DMX interface via USB or not ?
Could such a crash be the result of any problem between the dmx box and the pc ?
In my case the pc is not one of the fastest.

Hey,
We have now released a new Beta version of Daslight4. Please download it and let us know if the problem is fixed for you.

The interface should not have anything to do with the effect computing.

Can the new BETA be installed and run side-by-side with the previous version for testing purposes?

Hi benvigil,
Yes, on Windows, you may install as many versions as you want, using different install folders.
I don't know about Mac though, but I guess it's possible also.
Hope this helps.
