Hello,

I'm trying to the fan button on the colorwheel, like it is shown here:

Unfortunately the button is always disabled. As I looked for solutions I came across the release notes of version "Daslight Official Release 15th May 2017", where it is stated:

• Don't show active fan button on classic colorwheel ever (fix update).

It sounds like this is exactely my problem, even though I use the latest version, where it is supposed to be fixed. I can use the fan out feature for all other dimmer channels, but not on the colorwheel. Do you have a solution for me?

Hello Tomek,

The fan option does not work with the classic colour wheel, only with HSV and RGB.
The reason is that 2 colours must be set for a fan effect : the first colour and the last colour of the gradient.
Only HSV and RGB colour wheels can have 2 colours indicators : the thin for the first colour, the thicker one for the last one.
So, with the classic colour wheel, the fan option is disabled because it cannot be used.
