Hey Guys, i need some help:

After i save any Lightprojects, close DVC and re-open it and load the project, the programm does not respond on the DMX input anymore. The only way that DVC respond on DMX Input is if I open DVC an then directly make a new project. If I load any old projects the input doesn't work anymore, even if I create a new project!

I have an DVC 512 Gold (1,5 years old), the newest DVC version and Windwos XP. Already installed DVC a lot of times new and tried it on other PCs, always the same problem.

Hope you can help me soon, need DVC on Saturday

I've just tested this and it all seems fine to me. Is your problem that:
1. the DMX input triggers are lost
2. the output mode settings are lost
3. that everything loads correctly but does not respond to a DMX input signal

have you ticked the option in the tool box for activating DMX in?

can you check the general tab to see if the channels you choose to activate with dmx in are in dmx in mode or auto mode?

if you are using dmx in to trigger scenes, is the icon on the scene button present. right click the scene , check the properties?

The third one. Everything is working fine until I save or load something.

Yes, i don't change any settings, i only load an existed project or save my new project and the program doesn't react on my DMX inputs.

Example:
New project -> channel 1 modus change in DMX IN with DMX canal 001. I use Fader 001 on lightcontroller, in DVC everything works fine, the channel get the DMX level I setting up on the controller. -> Save the project. Now there is no respond in DVC if I move the fader on my controller. Hope you understand

Just tried it with the Februar Version of DVC, now everything is woriking fine. But hope you find the problem. =)

Hello people,

I have a problem. Maybe you can help me.
I have a dmx lightningtable connected to the Daslight dvc2 gold siudi 5a.
I am using a Windows XP computer with dvc2 software 25-07-2012 even connected on Daslight box.

No I have the following problem:
I will try to explain it as simple as I can.

I am starting on Daslight.
I start the luminaire in the set – up patch.
When im in the editor I click with the right button on the mouse on the ON button under the faderslide.
Then I click on DMX entrance and add another DMX fader.

Untill now everything works as it should be.

But I can only send the fader if I remove the complete software from my pc en install it again.

Is there anyone ho can help me with this problem?

are you sure you have your lighting fixtures selected when you restart the software?

Maybe the same issue as mine?
