Hi, can anyone advise me on how to get midi control of pause and go to next buttons on daslight 2. I am using the beta version of software and daslight 2 interface.

Hi Seamus,

At the moment MIDI is used to just start a scene.
There are no options via MIDI to stop, pause, go to next or anything else.
You would have to make that part of the scene(s) you are creating to pause or go to next scene.

You might be able to do it using two free/shareware programs autohotkey and bome's midi translator. With the miditranslator you will be able to change a midi command to a key stroke. With autohotkey you will be able to change a key-stroke combination to a mouse move and click. Give it a try.

Cheers,
Rob

Someone else downloaded the beta version, which is what I think you are refering to and now he can't get the original version to work. So be aware of the beta version.

I've tested 07/2008 beta on live situation. No problems. Actually works better than "stable"
