New User Help

Hi all.

So i'm wanting to venture into the world of software controlled lighting.

I have a pretty decent setup and I did some research into various levels of USB-DMX interfaces, from entry cheap to the more expensive.

I decided on the cheap one (for now) to see if its worth the time and effort.
Here is my problem.
I have it all plugged in and DasLight 4 running smoothly on my macbook, However, when i add my fixtures to the universe the lights do nothing.

All of the pan, tilt, shutter etc on the units do not respond?

I have checked the SSL is correct, that my lights are compatible, the USB-DMX interface is also compatible, I simply cannot fathom it out.
I have been on this now for nearly 2 weeks and still cannot make any headway.

Can someone please help?

MacOSX - El Capitan 10.11.5
Lighting - Equinox Fusion Spot max MKII
Daslight 4

Hi AJX,

Did you check that your fixtures have the right starting DMX address ?
Some fixtures have special settings in their setup to select the DMX mode also (= the number of channels).
The ssl2 file must match the DMX chart of your fixtures.

If you wish, you can post (or pm to me) the user manual of your fixtures and your dvc show file for I can have a look and try to help you.
