No fading by triggering via BPM?

Post by schneider007 »

Dear all!

Following situation:

1. I programmed a step-to-step Animation between PARs, then I modified a fade time between all fixtures, so that they neatly fade from one to the other, eg. in case of an chase. I play this by activating a button, the they are fading.

2. Then I decide to trigger this by BMP. When I do this, they are not fading between anymore, instead jumping from one to the other, with no elegant fade.

Is this a BUG? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

…no, it does not. At least not on the last beta on a Mac.

This was my first thought but this setting behaves like the same as "step". Whatever I select, "step" oder "fade" it's the same. The fixtures change without any fading… "One of these bugs…". Bugs, bugs, bugs... So without that nobody can seriously program a show…

Hey Schneider,

This sounds a bit strange as the fade between steps works just fine on my Mac (and on my PC, btw) when chosing "Fade on BPM". Or have you talking about fade between scenes, maybe ?

Could you please send me a showfile showing exactly how you have programmed the show (with the BPM options) ?

Kind regards,
TomHat
