Control scene with DMX Fader

Post by Monster1965 »

Hi,
I would like to control a scene via DMX fader, but I didn't find a possibility to do this. Is there no such feature or it's about me being stupid?

For example: In one scene I programmed a running light with some PARs from 0 to 255. Now live while show I want this running light not with full brightness, but adjust the maximum DMX-Output by an DMX-In-channel. So that I put my 17th input-fader to 90 and my running light just flashes between 0 and 90.

Could anybody help me with this problem?

Hey Monster1965,

If you want to map your scene dimmer with DMX input, you need to find the scene dimmer slider first, right click on it and chose the mapping you want.

You'll find the scene dimmer slider by clicking the DOWN arrow in the top right corner on the scene

The scene dimmer slider is that one

Hope this helps !
