Hi,

is it possible to make the daslight 4 software touchable with 10 Point multi touch?
For now, I can only touch one button each other.

Hi Marci, Multiple touch is a feature that we would like to implement into a future version Daslight. We are currently in discussions with the Developers to see if this is possible and to try and make this happen. When we have more information we will let you know. Kind regards

I purchased a Laptop All-in-one touchscreen specifically for use with daslight. Unfortunately I can not activate two buttons at the same time with this computer. I have another friend that controls on a touchscreen tablet and can select two buttons simultaneously.

What can i do ?

I saw that you give the same answer to another costumer in 2013. Now we are in 2017...any progres in this 4 years ?
I am realy disapointed...

Is it already possible to use multi touch (afert at least 11 years at the wishlist of the team)

Las week I connected a MacBook to an 32” ELO touch, with Daslicht 5, but couldn’t use multitouch.

May be I didn’t configured it well, or is it only possible at a windows device, because it’s not that common to use a touchscreen at a Mac.

If not, is there a workaround known like running a virtual tablet on your pc or Mac.

Or is the only solution, to migrate to a system like grand MA.

Hello,

Daslight 5 is compatible with multitouch screens on Windows devices.
It hasn't been tested on touch screens connected to Mac computers on our side, but I don't think Mac OS would support it.

The other solution you have is to use the Daslight Remote application available on tablets or smartphones (Android or IOS) to trigger your scenes or whatever control you want.
To do so, you must
- create touch pages in your project, add buttons, sliders, color wheel, etc
- install and open Daslight Remote
- connect your tablet/smartphone to the computer where Daslight 5 is installed using the Wifi network
You will then be able to access your touch pages on your portable device.
