midi Korg nanoKontrol2 maximum on only 127 instead 255

Why is the maximum value for midi in (fader or knob) only 127? For assigning a dimmer channel to midi I need the full 255. And I didn't find any possibility to change that. For me looks like a bug...

Hi djtheglove,
The MIDI values have a range from 0 to 127 for all kind of data (notes, velocities, program changes, all control changes). It's a technical standard used by all musical instruments and peripherals.
Values from 0 to 255 are for the DMX protocol only.
Hope that helps.

For scene speed or scene dimmer it's no problem, but ALL channels for each fixture and the master dimmer only go up to dmx value 127, so i get no maximum of 255 directly for a channel dimmer for example.

Hi,
For values in the Outputs, set Minimum Value = 0 and Maximum Value =
127 (not 255). These are the default values and it will work fine. All MIDI values are multiplied by 2 giving the correct DMX data.
