QUESTION : Shortcuts saved in global settings or in show file ?

Post by PolDavril »

Hello,

I come back with an older post about the shortcuts.
viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2251

In my opinion, the general shortcuts (Scene/Step/Live/BPM) should be saved in the global settings, and not within the show file, so they are ready for use in all the shows.
Once they are defined, I guess the general shortcuts will be the same for all shows.
Moreover, if a general shortcut is changed, it will be valid for all past and new shows also.

However, the "All the Scenes" shortcuts have to be saved within the show file itself.

Maybe other users will give their point of view about this.

Hi

It's already in our ideas list for the next version, we want to make something nice about it so it won't be available in Daslight 4..

Hi Jp,

Thanks for the answer.
So, a workaround for users is to create a template show file with basic shortcuts. 8)
