software problem

It seems like I have a slight software problem, cause yesterday the "live mode" crashed. I was able to run the show from the editor window by clicking my way through the whole show. 52 scenes with at least 20 to 50 steps. I got 5 movinheads from GLP (ypoc 250 lazer). Not even a preview in the 3D window. Has anybody a clue what happened here and how I can fix it?
Well, I'm going to post my own reply cause I found the mistake and help to prevent other users from having the same problem.
