Just lately I ran into a problem that my Virtual Controller 3 software does not receive any Midi In signal. I use a Softstep Midi Controller via LoopBe1 and MidiOX. MidiOx is showing that the signal from my midi controller is going through to LoopBe1 but DVC3 is not receiving anything, even under Shortcuts where you can use the train mode to see the midi information coming in.
Now, I also have a backup laptop with a cloned older version of my complete setup and if I plug that laptop in it works just fine.
I tried to compare the two but I can not figure out what causes the problem.
Any ideas???

P.S. More update: I loaded a older DVC2 project and the midi trigger works fine there. If I load the new project right after this one then the midi works there too. Seems every time I save a project and reload it, the midi triggering does not work anymore.

What is this forum good for... if you get no response??

Just thinking. DVC 4 is in focus. Release is near.

Hi, the problem is in the December 2015 version still available.
MIDIOX displays data but in DVC come to no data.
When you start the software DVC the interface is not connected all OK, then the data arrives in DVC.

Ist beim starten von der Software DVC das Interface nicht angeschlossen ist alle OK, dann kommen die Daten auch in DVC an.

Daslight 4 is running, but the bugs from DVC3 are not removed! Fix the problems before you start a new project!

Please can you send me a screenshot of the Midi window (Input > Midi Device) so I can see what settings you have selected.

If you could also right click the LoopBe icon and make sure the Mute option is unselected.

It seems to be my problem let's start at the First. The BPB Signal comes via Midi Interface LoopBe. Up to version 02.2015 was OK.

DVC3 Crash : Please can you try and save an empty show and try and connect your device again to see if the software crashes?

Have you still got the 02.2015 version of DVC3 installed and can you confirm that this set-up is working okay for you?

-> I have the interface DVC3 128. Up to version 2.2015 it was OK and there was no crash when the Interfave is connected. Since the DMX control is not running the right way.

I send only MIDI notes. Without interface it's OK. Only not with interface cometh in DVC purely no signal

Although DVC3 does not crash, and the interface is connected. Come no MIDI notes numbers of LoopBe in Daslight on. In demo mode, it goes.

We discovered there was a bug with midi note messages in DVC3. The developers have fixed the problem and if you download and install the latest DVC3 beta everthing should be working okay now.
