Scene not fading

I'm doing theater-work and have the following problem:
First scene fades to full, holds for some time and jumps (auto release) to:
Second scene sets all faders to zero (blackout), holds this for some time and jumps (auto release) to:
Third scene that ist set very much alike scene one (fade-time, etc.), but instead of fading the faders jump to full!
When I start scene three directly in live-mode the fading works!
What am I doing wrong? Or do I misunderstand something?
