What is: "Select fixtures to control"?

could anyone explain me what "Select fixtures to control" (in the "Options" menu) does? - I don't understand this.

Nobody out there who knows this? Not even the Daslight team?

It seems that this feature isn't working anymore. When enabled it should allow MIDI and DMX control of only the selected fixtures instead of all the fixtures in the group. We'll check this out in the next update.
