Is it possible to modify the existing EasyView objects and save them as a new *.x object?

I've tried importing the *.x files with with different 3d modeling programs and I get errors that the files are corrupt. I have also tried various DirectX/XNA viewers and still get errors.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

It's not possible to edit our .x graphics with other software, however you can take objects from google 3D warehouse, open them in sketchup and then use the 3d RAD exporter to export to .x format

So the EasyView *.x file is not a direct X file format? Is it a direct X file with a custom header that can be modified?
Can we use a direct X file we have created as a fixture model?
Thanks.

Yes, we have created and imported models for our scenes.

My question is can we make our own 3D models for use as lighting fixtures?

These are the models selected through the Scanlibrary Editor under:
Profile Settings > Library Type > Fixtures.

These models appear to be stored here:
Daslight Virtual Controller 3/EasyViewLibrary/Fixtures

We have copied our models to this location, however the ScanLibrary Editor is not picking them up.

Thanks.

It is not possible to make your own lighting fixture graphics. Unfortunateky, there are a lot of parameters and we don't have any documentation on this

We are an OEM and build custom fixtures specific to projects that are in many cases one offs. If we supply fixture models are you able to add the necessary parameters to allow us to use them in our scenes?
Thanks.
