Hello,

I'm using Daslight for several years now, and always very pleasant with the software. Unfortunately since i've installed DVC2 on a newer computer, the application hangs everytime after a while. (Sometimes several times in an hour, sometimes after 1.5 hour.

After trying different things (other OS, DVC2 Gold dongle, DVC100 dongle, with or without MIDI cohntroller, everything) i've tried to uninstall DVC2 nov2012 version, and installed the previous version of DVC2.

The previous version is working without any errors, and the system works fine, but I reallyt want to use the newer DVC2 version because we use the touchscreen application (DVS.exe) in the older version you can't see wich buttons are switched on or off, in the newer version of DVC you can see it, and we need that function for the touchscreen.

Is there anybody who can tell me how this can be fixed? Is this a bug that more people have with this newer DVC2 version?

I use the Daslight dongle 3 times in a week, and during a live show I can't let it happen that DVC2 gets hanged!

Hopefully I can get rid of this error and use this pc for our shows!

Windows 8 and Windows 7 installed (on different Harddisks)

Try the version from 13th March and let me know how you get on with it

I Have exact the same Problem as erik. Installed the Version 13.03.2013 and the application hangs after a few times.

installed now the Version from 2009 that runs since it was released and hope it works now.

Please tell me the exact date of the software which appears to work fine and describe the handing problem in a bit more detail. I'll try and reproduce the problem.
-How does it hang? Does it freeze completely, does the Windows crash reporter dialog appear?
-When it hangs, is the interface in PC mode or does it turn to stand alone mode?
-Which DMX interface are you using?
-Can you run your show without a DMX interface connected and see if it still hangs?
