Hello everybody,

We are using the DVC2 Software for a few years now.

Now we have the problem that we want to control our moving lights in some special way. We have some events where we have to follow peoples with the moving lights.

For this application it would be easier to controll the axis of the moving lights with some kind of joystick or trackball. We read a lot about how to use a PS3 controller on a windows pc. Now we want to ask you is it possible to work with it on the DVC2 software? Otherwise how can we connect a joystick or trackball to DVC2?

DVC2 and DVC3 both allow you to use the XY grid with a joystick

in the group tab, select the (Left hand tab icon) untill you see the grid for pan and tilt. now select the lock to mouse option for both pan and tilt. now you can position the selected heads with the mouse or trackball. Just a bit awkward keep selecting and de selecting to do other things with the mouse.
