Hi all, sure it is my error.
I have created a simple setup

1 par 64
1 par led with 4 channels (dimmer , R, G, B)
Next 4 simple scene with PAR64 full on and Dimmer+R, Dimmer+G and Dimmer + B , all full on.
In live mode i set for all scene dimmer fader but nothing work.
I can click scene and light go full on but moving dimmer fader don't change DMX level.

Where i0m wrong ?

scene dimming is not working correctly in the latest beta, this will be fixed in the next beta available soon

Scene Dimmer is always is not working correctly in the latest beta from 23.10.2012.
I´ve programmed some scenes for 30% dimmer, some scenes are 40%, and when i start a scene with 100%, all scenes 100%. I must turn off and on the scenes with dimmer, then works.

We'll have a new version out this week. We have made a lot of changes with the dimming priorities and it should work well now.

Also in latest beta (Dec 10 2012) I have problem with scene dimming.
I want that scene dimming work "per scene", but I i set dimming for more scene the last take priority .

Remember that the dimmer dims the scene. If a new scene has been stacked on an old scene which uses the same channels, then the new scene is currently playing. If you move the dimmer on the old scene, nothing will happen.

simple 9 PAR64 patch
scene 1 DMX ch. 1-2-3
scene 2 DMX ch. 4-5-6
scene 3 DMX ch. 7-8-9

All scene with dimmer fader.

Play scene 1 and scene dimmer work right
play scene 2 and scene dimmer for scene 1 don't work, but scene dimmer for scene 2 work also for scene 1
play scene 3 and scne dimmer for scene 1 don't work, scene dimmer for scene 2 work on scene 1, scene dimmer for scene 2 and 3.

Probably I do somthing wrong . Can you please check ?

I tested this with the latest DVC3 beta (december 10th) and this works fine.

-Make sure the release mode is set to OFF on all 3 scenes
-Make sure the channels not been used in the scenes are set to OFF (right click under the fader)

Hi Simon, you're right.
I try new show and it's work.

The problem is with DMX IN. My previous test was done first assign channel 1-9 to DMX IN and record scene using external DMX console fader. I think there is some problem in channel priority whit dmx in.
Later I do some other test first recording scene with channel not mapped on DMX IN , and when scene ready, map DMX channel with DMX IN.
Tomorrow i give you a feedback.

A little fix, if possible, on dimmer and spped fader should be the fader value indicator that disapper after you move fader.
