Hi all...i hope someone has had same problem, so i can resolve it!

Software DVC2 (last release 25-07-12)
interface SIUDI 5a
winXP 32bit (pc hardware doesn't matter, it happens on several pc or laptop)
rtpMidi service active (to control DVC2 with midi-over-ethernet)

so...i run my show (some buttons active, buttons in flash mode for live control, 6-7 active scenes, midi trigger for a lot of buttons...), if I try to modify some button, casually DVC2 crash: the pop-up window does not completely open (missing some key or written) software freeze and i have to close it in task manager or force a pc reboot.
This doesn't happen every time i try to modify something...i still not have found the specific cause.

Daslight have admitted there are some midi problems with DVC2.

in my experience if you have imported scenes from another file , this is when midi goes wrong.

it may be best to start from scratch with a fresh patch, and recreate your show. try not to move things around between groups, as this is where the midi bug is.

sorry not more helpful , but the programmers are probably all working on DVC3 bugs, so all future development of DVC2 is likely to be slow.

if this is happening regularly on a specific show, send it over and we'll see what we can find
