Hi together,

i am new to the daslight familiy. I purchased an older DVC2-512 Interface and I am preparing my first show with it.

Everythings works good so far, but now i am at the integration of my controller. I am using an icon i-stage but due to the lacking of midi feedback i am not able to use the ability of the i-stage, to present the state of a button via led.

After reading the infos on the forum about this problem, i am not shure, if an upgrade to DVC3 will solve my problem. There are disputed statements about midi feedback in DVC3

So is there midi feedback in DVC3 ? Cause i am having an older interface i would have to upgrade my interface for DVC3. I just want to be shure, that this will solve my little problem.

Thanks so far
Wolfgang

Midi feedback schould work as it´s sad in the new features list of the first DV3 beta from 09/12/11 (http://www.daslight.com/support/viewtopic.php?t=1219), but for me it doesn´t work too!!

possibility to rotate multibeam fixture 90, 180, 270 degrees in group window
------------------------------------
position fan effect
------------------------------------
it is possibile now to add DMX shortcuts to scenes in shortcut manager but not for other actions
------------------------------------
the possibility to merge scenes
------------------------------------
a channel priority where it works with scenes AND MIDI or DMX
------------------------------------
midi feedback
------------------------------------
editor auto scroll..if you have a long list of scenes and need to drag one up to the top
------------------------------------
all fixtures in the fixture window to light up when an effect is playing, not just the selected one
------------------------------------
a button in the group window called "rearrange fixture order", you can then select your fixtures in the correct order. Quicker than setting this on the setup tab
------------------------------------
the ability to add a jpg/icon to a button
------------------------------------
possibility to add some fields to the table on the editor tab

Even worse: just some some of these are already realised in DVC3. The most not!

This quote is not correct. The post never said that these features were included. Actually all these have been implemented except for 3 of them which we have decided will take too long to develop right now.
