This is not a problem I thought that it is already integrated, as it was already listed in the release notes. I know that the software is still in beta status and am already looking forward to the finished product. Perhaps SimonB may still something to the development status of MIDI feedback.
"Here is a list of some of the things we have not yet included but are looking to add... "
We may add MIDI feedback, but we still need to asses how long this feature will take to implement. At the moment we are working towards a stable official version
I have a Korg NanoKontrol that I've been using for sometime to control DVC 2.
With DVC3 I can still use the button on the Nano to turn scenes on and off, however I can not use any of the faders or rotary dials. I try linking with midi but it seems DVC3 only recognizes the buttons on my Nano and not any of the faders.
Hi, I am still struggling with the BCF-2000. The one I had bought was not OK and repaired. I now use the Presets 1-4 with DasLight, but will need more Presets, and want to start from Preset 10. The Presets 1-8 have already values assigned that become overwritten. However, when I use the empty presets from 9 onwards, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
Edit: I have learnt that these presets have to specified before use. Does DasLight accept more midi channels than channel 1?
DVC3 can read all 16 MIDI channels at the same time, therefore if you run out of controller numbers, you can assign different presets to different channels to control additional functions
Hi Daslight-Team, After initial problems with the new DVC3 software and a great deal of adjustment time from DVC2 to DVC3, I can tell you, that everything is working fine and stable. Presently I'm working with DVC3, controled by keyboard, touch-screen, BCF2000 midi-controller, a lot of Movingheads, LED-Fluter, LED-PARs, regular PARs, Strobes, Hazer and Fogger.
MY REQUEST: Can someone tell me when the feature "midi-feedback" will be implemented? This is very important to me, because i control daslight via keybord shortcuts, touchscreen and additionally midi-controler. My problem is, when i start a scene on the midi-controller and change a scene via touch-screen, keyboard, or automatic time mode in DVC3, I do not get feedback on the midi-controller. this means, the midi-controler shows that the scene is on, when in reality it has been changed or turned off.
I know this has been a frequently asked question and that it is not your priority at the moment, but for all users of midi-contollers this whould be a major step.
I would be happy to hear from you with a significant answer.
