Hi,
I am trying to set a strobe light to come on as well as the rest of the lights. I have the strobe set to 'group release' and in a separate group to the rest. The other scenes are set to 'general release' with allows the strobe button along with the previous scene's button to still be pressed.
I think this is when the strobe should be on as well as the rest of the scenes pressed but the strobe just overrides everything. Can anyone tell me why?
The other problem is the strobe seems to be backwards in function. Its is flashing off to the beat instead of on. (so it is on like a light most of the time) Another mystery!
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Problems programming a strobe light (Atomic 3000)
Hi ripgroove,
Release actions
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Group" release will release other active scenes within its group when the scene with "Group" release is started.
"General" release releases all active scenes when the scene with "General" releae is started.
"Off" release means do not release any active scene when the scene with "Off" release is started.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You will have to check the sliders for all your other fixtures in the scene for the strobe and ensure they are all 0 (zero) and either set it as "Group" release or "Off" release.
With out knowing how you have programmed the scene it would be near enough impossible to say what the cause might be.
