Hi there just recently purchased the dvc3 512 interface and am enjoying learning to use the software.
I am having some trouble with the easy remote app on my mobile windows xp machine.
For some reason when i create anything within the easyremote app on my xp machine, buttons, faders etc i cannot select anything from them to control.
The app seems to ignore the fact that i have any fixtures scenes or fx so i cant control anything from it.
This works fine on my home windows 7 machine however.
I have also tried connecting locally with a browser by running easy remote but when i try to connect to the address http://127.0.0.7:2000/ it just says website found waiting for reply and the easy remote widow states that it is connected with 1 client.
Im not using any firewall or antivirus software so im at a loss as to why i cannot connect locally to dvc3.
Really need some help on this one.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
if EasyRemoteApp works on your Windows 7 computer and not on your XP, then you must have a problem with your XP installation, be sure to have authorized EasyRemote app in your firewall.
On a browser, you'll only get the scenes and effects buttons you've created in the editor or live.
As we've changed a lot of things in EasyRemoteApp since the launch of the app, be sure to have the latest version of DVC3 installed. You can download the latest beta patch (08/07/2013) from the website.
