Symbols in the LIve Buttons

Hi

Can anyone advise what the symbols in the live scene buttons are. I have some scenes with an infinity symbol and some with what likes live a 3 pin plug symbol?

Can't find it in the manual.

the infinity symbol means that the scene runs continously

not sure about the 3 pin plug.

When you say that you are triggering the scene with DMX what does that mean?

it means you have selected "DMX in" in the tools menu options.

if you right click on the scene button you will have a triggering option which will come up with a midi or dmx option. you now (assuming you have a dmx desk connected to the second input of your interface) move any channel slider and its number will appear in the dmx box.

Now you can activate this scene by sliding up the channel value to anywhere over mid point (value=127).
