I wondered if daylight was able to trigger midi out from a button so that I could digger a program change in a Roland drum pad (different drum kit) for a different song? I have looked in the manual but not really any info on midi out (think it's just designed for feedback to midi controllers)
If not I guess I need something like showcue to trigger everything

Thanks for raising this topic! So Daslight is technically capable of do this process (sending MIDI Out)- for example if I have a MIDI device connected to the software, then assign a mapping to a Scene button, I can set the MIDI Out values as desired- then when I trigger the scene through the software, the MIDI Output values will be sent.
The issue is that Daslight only works with Notes and CC, but not PC messages. Perhaps your best option would be to send the MIDI data from Daslight to a virtual MIDI message converter, changing it from a Note to PC message, then send the new PC message from the 3rd party software to the Roland. One such software that might be helpful for you is MIDI Pipe, but I believe this is a Mac only software. I am sure there would be a free Windows equivalent somewhere though!
