Linking Scenes in Daslight 5 and a silly question

Hi,

I've used Daslight 4 quite a lot and now, after a long pause from this hobby, i switched to Version 5.
Currently designing a show for a choir concert with theatrical elements. I need a lot of static lighting and followspots. When starting a specific scene, is there an option to link another scene in another bank to start simultaneously?
I know I could use a super scene, but that would limit my scene to fixed duration. For example: Scene one is 2 movinghead spots, as a step sequence moving to the desired location on stage and then fading in. At the same time, another, static, ambient light in a different scene should turn on and stay on. Is there a way to link scene one and the ambient scene so i only click on scene one and ambient starts automatically?
he Ambient scene is supposed to stay on while the spot scenes change. Thats where my second problem is: When starting the second scene, the spots should slowly fade of, then move and then fade on again. Setting the scene fade time results in the spots moving while fading. Is there a way to stop movement when a scene is fading out?
