change the color of fixtures

can i change the color of fixtures because is white some of them. and i want black in my 3D

the only way to change the colour would be to open the 3D fixture object in a 3D design package.

Remember if your fixtures were black you wouldn't be able to see them

You could also try turning down the ambient lighting

where is all this?? at add objects bacause i didn't find...

You can change the ambient lighting on the rendering options tab

i know this but the question was for this (the only way to change the colour would be to open the 3D fixture object in a 3D design package) where is the 3D fixture object because i didn't find and the 3D desing package.

there is no fixture design package with the software.

you will have to go into the root directory of the 3d visualiser remove the currently used graphic item and use proprietory 3d software to edit any of the icons used for the fixtures.

I still do not understand why you would want to do this. you can alter the type and size of the icon used in the Scan library editor. again if you need to change the colour of a fixture this would have to tie up with this software too.

The visualiser supplied with Daslight is supposed to be for representation only. if you want something more advanced you need to pay for WYSIWYG. but very expensive.
