Select fixtures and inverse Pan for static positions

Post by UNITevents »

Hello,

I try to make static positions more easier.
At the moment its very difficult to create them quick.
I find my self very ofter calculating pan-values.
I know from other softwares that fixed/static positions can be made in the following ways.

1.) Select Start-Point (for example all Beams straight down)
2.) Select all Moving Heads and choose that the pan of all right ones should be inverted.
3.) Adjust them
4.) Maybe another group should be selected (again some with inverted pan) and adjust the positions

For example
Select all Green Moving Heads.
Positions Straight down.
Right green Group inverted Pan
Make the position.
Next select only red ones
Right group again inverted Pan
Adjust the position

Is that possible in Daslight5?

Hello,

Making and saving a few "Selections" and then playing with Pan/Tilt Fan Values could help maybe. The ordering in which you make fixture selections is crucial for how they will fan.
