Controlling DVC4 GZM via Alexa Echo 15

Does anybody have experience with control of DVC4 GZM over Alexa via Artnet ?

How would you intend to do this ? This interface isn't made to receive DMX signals over Artnet in StandAlone.

Okay, many thanks for the quick feedback.

I want to start multiply Daslight4 scenes and -shows via voice comments from Alexa. Alexa should do what is possible with MIDI and dry contact ports in Stand alone mode. For example switch on and off multiply Lights (up to 50), change their light intensity. color and so on via voice. All lights are connected via DMX.

Theoretical I see three options, for shure not all are working. But which one is possible and which one is the best ?

1. Alexa Echo Show 15 - ARTNET - DVC4 (ARTNET) - DMX Lights: Okay it seems DVC4 can not do this in stand alone mode.
2. Alexa Echo Show 15 - Al-DALI-DMX-Wiz ? - DVC4 (DMX In) - DMX Lights. I need to generate DMX Out from ALEXA ? With Al-DALI-DMX-Wiz ?
3. Alexa Echo Show 15 - ? - Multiplexer - DVC4 (Dry contact trigger ports) - DMX Lights. Also here I would need a hardware unit go generate the dry port contact signals from Alexa

Hello,

In Standalone, our interfaces don't interpret DMXIn, or Artnet. The only input solution you mentionned that could possibily work would be using the dry contact ports. This can be set directly from Daslight4 before writing the show.

Would a combined solution make sense, e.g. with
1. A DVC4 GZM in Stand alone mode, controlled via the dry contact ports and
2. An Alexa Echo 15 controlled via voice plus Alexa / DMX converter
3. A DMX merger

Sadly all I can confirm is that the GZM device will trigger the scenes in Standalone using the dry contact ports. The rest of your project is out of our expertise.
