Duplicating / Mirroring fixtures in 3D Simulator

Post by AlRamsay »

To minimise channel useage, I mirror fixtures on stage. To give an example I use one six way dimmer to control 12 lanterns (single channel fixtures) six of which are stage left and six stage right.

Is there a way to create clones of these channels in the 3D simulator to reflect this? It would also be nice to be able to do this in the 2D view in Daslight4.

Kind regards

Hello,

Sadly not. One address = one fixture. You cannot have two fixtures on the same address.

If you've got more than one view set up, you can check the single view box to only clone in one view, or uncheck it to clone in all of them. fnf mods

The process of duplicating or mirroring fixtures in a 3D simulator depends on the software you are using. However, in general, you can duplicate an object by selecting it and then pressing the “Ctrl” and “D” keys on your keyboard. You can also mirror an object by selecting it and then pressing the “Ctrl” and “M” keys on your keyboard.I hope this helps. Drift Boss
