DMX Termination
Do people use a DMX terminator on their setups? Is it necessary?
A lie goes half way around the world before the truth gets its pants on.

I do and always have done as that is what the DMX standard requires. I have had certain fixtures go a bit doolally until a terminator was put on the end.
When I helped the guys out at the Plasa06 show I took some fixtures with me and used a terminator and Vianney was suprised and said that there was no need.
So there you go, you can and you don't have too. It does depend on the fixtures and configuration you have.
