Beta software not working

I have just downloaded the beta software and it will not run.

after 2 seconds it reports back with

Please do not rename this exe file!

please debug as I was looking forward to coloured buttons.

I have tried to download beta software and found the same bug.
Hope they sort it out soon.
Nice to see a thread now on what is new with each release.

Now I do not know if a mistake has been made here or not as both files are are exactly the same size and the beta version installs as "Daslight Virtual Controller 2" not as "Daslight Virtual Controller 2 BETA".

How did I get it to install ???? Renamed the file as "DVC2_setup.exe".

They are the same, so neither is a BETA version ?????????
