Beginner of DVC2

Post by Joyce Lee »

Hi,

I am the beginner of using DVC2. Could I have the suggestion of the below query?

I facing the hard disk problem now and I didn't do any backup for my computer.

In this case, I need to re-install the DVC2 into the other hard disk? If I choose to change the CPU do anything I need to pay attention?

Your assistance is much appreciated. :D

Hi Joyce,

You will need to download another copy of the Daslight software from our website onto your new hardrive. Which version you can use depends on what generation of DVC2 you have. The links below have all the information you need to identify your device so you can see what software it's compatible with. I have also included the links to the Daslight download page where you can download the latest versions of your compatible software.

In summary:
1st generation DVC2 is compatible with DVC2 software using 32 bit OS.
2nd generation DVC2 is compatible with DVC2 and possible DVC3 using 32 or 64 bit OS.

Hope that helps.
