Bug in Daslight 5 with Static Scenes and Moving Lights
Bug in Daslight 5 with Static Scenes and Moving Lights
Hi everyone,
I'm not quite sure if it is a bug or a feature, but there seems to be a problem with a fade between two static-/step-scenes when using moving lights.
As an example, I have programmed two static scenes containing moving heads. Both scenes do only differ in dimmer or hue settings and have the same moving light pan/tilt positions. When I set a fade time to both scenes, I can smoothly fade between them by just clicking on the scene tiles. So far so good. But when I want to play the next scene by clicking the "play next scene"-button, the moving heads try to move to their home-positions before they come back to their old positions.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Mo

I never used the "next" function, but now I have tested it.
Same problem here.

... the problem also occurs when I set a fadeout time to the last step of a step scene....

About the previous/next scene buttons in the bank menu, indeed they should apply the fade in/out.
The problem has been identified and will be fixed in the next release.
We haven't seen any problem. Could you please describe more precisely what you're expecting?

Raphaël

Hi Raphaël,
Thanks first for your quick feedback and fixing the bug in the next release!
The second bug (or feature ) concerns the following situation:
Suppose I create a stepscene that contains moving heads. If I now set a fadeout time greater than 0 sec in the last step, the fadeout time affects not only the dimmer times, but also the pan/tilt values. The moving heads therefore then move to their home position. This can disturb a little bit, if e.g. an autofollow with fade time into a next scene takes place. It would be easier if the pan/tilt values were preserved.
Thanks in advance
Mo

You can create a custom macro that fades between the two scenes. This will give you more control over the fade time and behavior.

Re: Bug dans Daslight 5 avec des scènes statiques et des lumières en mouvement
Je pense qu'il suffit de cliquer dans continuité de seine et pas début de scène à droite
