Fading in Steps

Post by dbicksler »

Hello, I just switched over from My DMX3.0 to Daslight due to the super scene feature. I want to create light show to music and doing steps with out that feature is hard.
I just got Daslight 5 yesterday and was playing around with it and I added all my fixtures and I am creating scenes and I can't do the fade in a scene or between steps. I put in the Fade time like I would in my Dmx 3 and then when I clicked play it just jumps not fades. So went into the properties that new for me and played around with that and still does not work.

Any advise on what I am doing wrong. Thanks

Hello
There are some changes about step calculation method in Daslight 5.
If you want an fade between 2 steps on the dimmer for example, be sure the feature/channel dimmer is ON (creen circle) in the two steps.

This doesn't work, the lights do not fade between steps despite the dimmer being turned on there is no fade between the steps and the dimmer just stays at 100%. The lights just flash to the next colour.

Bonjour, il faut mettre les deux scènes identiques une sur l'autre, celle du dessus 0 % , la deuxième en dessous avec le gradateur à 100 %

Also, bei mir funktioniert das sehr gut!
Es muss nur die "Wait time" größer als die "Fade time" sein.
