Trying to add scenes to the DVC GOLD unit to act as a backup when pc fails but absolutely struggling.
Whenever it tries to read the unit it crashes daslight and doesn't seem to be able to add scenes dispite it saying it does. On the old platform it was very easy to do, and I just need to have the facility to press one of the 10 buttons to play various scenes.
Am guessing it can do 10 scenes with 3 zones (event though software gives you 5?). Or can you just have the buttons triggering independant scenes
Also have an issue where when you trigger port 3 once, it permantly latches (even after removing the cable), thus then making further port triggering impossible

Re: DASLIGHT5 Standalone and port triggering
Hello,
Please send us your showfile, for tests purposes.
If I understood your message correctly, we have :
- A crash when trying to read the show from the DMX interface's memory
- Some sort of issue when triggering port 3 in LIVE
And to clarify, your DVC Gold DMX interface (the one with 10 numbered buttons) can handle up to 5 zones, but you can of course use less than 5. Once your show is written, you can use the 10 buttons to easily trigger the first 10 scenes of each zone.
Regards,
