DVC Fun dmx input

Hello,

I would like to know how works the dmx input mode (optional) on next gen DVC Fun.

As I understand if I buy the option I would be capable to read & map dmx fader from a Dmx Controller with I/O dmx to Daslight 4 et 5 ?

Hello,

This is exactly right. Both software allow you to map a DMX signal to a control.
In D4, it'll be mostly mapped to DMX faders.
In D5, you'll be able to map it to all sorts of controls.

So with only one dmx output, DVC Fun will be able to read DMX signal from a DMX Controller ?

The wiring will be Computer -> DVC Fun -> Dmx controller IN -> Dmx Controller Out -> Dmx Light IN -> ....

Am I right ?
