New DVC-FUN and Daslight 4 and 5

Hi,

I currently own a DVC FUN for Daslight 4 and I have upgraded to FULL mode.

If I buy a new DVC-FUN (Daslight 5 ready) it will be Express mode for Daslight 4.
Since there is no Daslight 5 yet, do I need to buy Full mode for Daslight 4 ( 148 Euros ) and after that an Full mode for Daslight 5 ( 178 Euros )?

Or can I just buy the Full mode for Daslight 5 and will this also be full mode for Daslight 4?

I asked support and got a quick answer.

I do not need a new device. As long as it's SUT compatible you can upgrade your current hardware to Daslight 5. You will need to buy the license.

Upgrades are possible:
f you do not have a Daslight 5 compatible device, upgrades will be available via dmxsoft.com this summer when the beta is launched. To upgrade, a SUT compatible device is required.

✔️ LR512 - SUT compatible
✔️ myDMX GO - SUT compatible
✔️ myDMX 3.0 - SUT compatible
❌ DVC4 GOLD - Not SUT compatible
❌ DVC4 GZM - Not SUT compatible

If you would buy a new DVC FUN interface now, you would need a Daslight 4 license and after that another Daslight 5 license.
The new Gold and GZM already have licenses for Daslight 4 and 5.
