dvc 512 dmx in dosent work

hello together
i have a new dvc 512 usb box but i can't get dmx input signals not even when i test it with the program tool.exe what can i do

Have you connected the output to the input when you have been testing with tools.exe?

when i connect the Output in the Input i get a signal but not if i conect my dmx console ( Botex scene setter Dc1224)

That's strange. You have a signal when you connect the output to the input but you have no signal when you connect the DMX desk to the input?

All I can think is that there is a problem with the DMX output on your desk.

Do you have absolutely no DMX input at all?
Does the desk work fine when connected directly to the fixtures?
