I'm using the DVC3 512.
This works great.

But is there a timeline function?
For a wedding dance I want the lights moving on the song in a special way.

Who can help me?

There is no timeline function in DVC3. For timeline based programming you need to check out our ESAPro and Sunlite Suite 2 applications.

If you do some weddings, it's great to have a spectaculair wedding dance with all the lights working on the music.
Just because more dj's gonna use it, it would be an idea for Daslight.

There is a way, Start by stopwatching your song.

now create your lighting scenes for each part of the song.

within the same group create a scene before each created scene/ lighting change.
Make this scene a 1 loop scene with a jump to the following scene.

once you have done this for all the scenes in the group / song create another scene to start the song on the same computer. (live mode , properties, enable multimedia, select browse for the wav or mp3 file)
now select keyboard shortcut for all the timing scenes and the song start scene.
