midi mixer controls Daslight 4 while it is on Background

Hi all,
I wanted to know if you can control DasLight 4 with a midi mixer (eg Akai APC 40 MKII) although daslight is running in the background, I searched a little and did not get a direct answer.

I appreciate any help you guys can provide.

Hello,

Yes you can control D4 with a MIDI console. You can assign MIDI controls to Scene buttons, or DMX faders among other things by right-clicking the controls in the software and "assign MIDI".

You can make sure your MIDI console is detected and active via the Preference window.
