Daslight 4 freezes on startup

Hello !

Just bought a DVC Gold, great interface, so much better than my previous DVC Gold. But...

Today Daslight 4 doesn't want to launch, it freezes on startup ( on the window with the version which is the latest, and it's written "Done" but it's frozen ). Everything worked perfectly yesterday, and since I use it ( maybe 4 years ! ).

Tried to reinstall, block Windows Defender, Firewall, clean registry, etc... Impossible... It's not due to a corrupted scene loading on startup, because in global.ini, "LOADPREVIOUS" is set to false.

Daslight 5 works ok, big improvement in performance, but some fonctionnalites doesn't work well for me so I have to continue working with Daslight 4, and I don't know what to do...

I'm on Windows 10 pro 64, everything up to date.

Hello,

When I try to start Daslight 4 it stops halfway through loading and then the program freezes, when I try to click anywhere it says "program is not responding".

The program worked fine at first, but when I created some extra scenes last week it would no longer open

I have tried the following things:
- Reinstall Daslight
- open on another PC
- Restarting the PC
- Take out the cables again and put them back in
- starting a older version of this file works

Fortunately, I have saved an older version of this file, so not everything is gone, but it would be nice if this version could still be retrieved.

Hope you can help me with this problem.

Oh and i tried uploadig the dvc file in here but it said "Invalid file extension" where do i have to submit it to?

In order to send your showfile you can chose one of those 2 options :
- Create a .zip archive containing your file and upload it with your next reply.
- Or send me the file directly at [email protected]
