LED flickering with Daslight

Hi everyone,

I only received my new Daslight Gold this week. I set it up with my 32ch DMX decoder for LED strips. With my old lighting desk, everything seemed fine. However, controlling with daslight make them flicker very randomly when dimming. (or sometimes even at max brightness)

These are the things I tried so far:
- Controlling via Ethernet instead of USB - a little better but still there
- updating latest firmware
- setting the decoder to 16 bit but that does not work at all - back to 8bit
- using brand new DMX cables

I'm at a loose end now because they do work with my old lighting desk (30 pound on amazon) but not with Daslight...

If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it.

Hello,

Your Daslight interface sends DMX frames every 40ms. Could the flickering come from the DMX decoder not handling this frequency ?
