Unassign MIDI Fader

Post by WS »

Sorry for this (possibly trivial) question, but I am trying to unassign my MIDI fader assignments, and unable to figure out how to do so.
I am using an AKAI APC mini, and connected two daslight faders using the "+" syntax (598+606) . How can I remove this assignment?
Thanks for your help!

Hello Wolfgang,

unassign a MIDI fader or a scene from midi mapping is quite simple.

Just do a right mouse click on the fader you want to unassing and select "Edit MIDI Mapping" (Screenshot 01). In the upcoming dialog window uncheck the checkbox "Midi-In-Mapping" and than click on "OK" (Screenshot 02). That's it.

Greetings
Stephan
