Offset when jumping scenes

Post by chriholt »

Hi Daslight Team,

i recently ran into the following..

My setup (simplified):
- 3 Groups (A/B/C)
- Each group as two scenes (1/2)
- Each scene on group B/C as two steps with 40ms waiting time each (simple strobe on/off effect)
- First scene on group A (A1) will jump to B1/C1
- Second scene on group A (A2) will "jump to" B2/C2
- A1 and A2: "Always loop" OFF with 1 Loop set / 1 Step with hold time of 40ms

Now, I noticed that there is an offset in timing with certain combinations when group A is triggered:

- A1 is started while group B/C are off -> No offset, B1 and C1 are playing 100% in sync
- A2 is started while B1 and C1 are playing -> No offset, B2 and C2 are playing 100% in sync
- A1 is started while B2 and C1 are playing (C1 remains, B2 jumps to B1) -> Offset
- A1 is re-triggered while B1 and C1 are playing -> Offset disappears

It seems that when using the "Jump to" feature, any scene which is not yet active, will always be behind scenes which are already active.

Is this a know issue or is there any advise to work-around this?

Many thanks and best regards
Christian

Hello,

Sorry I can't reproduce your issue. Can you confirm that this show reflects what you're describing ?
