Problem after generating an effect with 3 tilts

Post by Karstieman »

I'm running Daslight lastest version and DVCFUN Latest firmware on Windows 10 latest patches.
I have a problem generating a tilt effect for my light fixture 'Ibiza-Light 9 beam mini'.
The fixture has 3 tilt-units (each unit containing 3 lights) which can tilt.

I can setup a Curve-Sine effect and select tilt1, tilt2 and tilt3.
See attached file
Then I can see all 3 heads moving up and down. So that's good.
See attached file

But when I generate the effect (with or without the 'include set levels') option,
only the tilt3 ends up moving in the generated result.
See attached file

I then tried to generate 3 different tilt Curve-Sine fx, one for each tilt.
I can see all 3 heads moving up and down again,
but after generating, only the tilt3 ends up moving.

Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong, because this has cost me 4 hours already and I'm out of options :-)

I ended up testing again last night and found the solution to my problem.

The light fixture SSL2 was configured as a moving head TILT on the 3 tilt-channels. This makes sense :-)
But when I reconfigured the 3 tilt-channels as UNKNOWN (?) and set the values as UNDEFINED 0-255 linear, the generation of all 3 channels worked fine and they were moving at the same time! See attached file.

So, I don't know how to reach development, but this looks like a software-bug to me.
