How to stop a scene (not pause) in Live view?

Post by mariskay »

Hey there, clicking on scene starts to play it, another click - stops it. But this is not true when scene is set to jump to next scene once its done. How to stop in this case?

If i mouseclick a scene which is set to jump to next one - it doesnt stop, it jumps to next one, but i need to shut it down completely, not pause.

Hello

Currently we do not have a 'stop' function for the scene groups, but this is something we will add to our future ideas list :)

For now, one of our top tips, is to create stop/release/reset button (scene) for each group so it can stop the scenes operating in that whole group. You will then need to restart any scenes you want to play in that group.

To create a 'Reset Group' scene button, simply follow these steps:
1) Select the group where you want the button.
2) Create a scene called 'Reset Group'.
3) Under the scene properties, select the release type to 'Group'.
4) Select all the fixtures in the 2D window under the group tab.
5) Ensure all the faders values are set to '0'.

And that's all there is to it, simple but effective.

Kind Regards
